The fact is it MUST be Dell's fault, othwer wise why not pass the blame, and deflect uer's wrath????

Perhaps they can not publically associate themselves with HTC due to contractual obligations. If Dell did such a thing, I'm sure everyone would then just contact HTC to complain to them and bypass Dell completely. Since HTC doesn't want to deal with end users, they create an agreement with other companies to sell/support their products.
