If you have a Firewall the port may be blocked and the PDA won't be detected. This is a known problem with WM5 and the X50 or X51. Do google with "Axim and Firewall"

Hi I have tried disabling the firewall and anti virus also, still activesync did not detect the axim. Then I tried steps mentioned in "Activesync trouble shooting guide"

for norton firewall. But still axim was not recognized by activesync 4.1
