I use industrial velcro to attach my BT-339 to the back of the rear view mirror of our 2 vehicles and use a cheap Arkon vent mount for the Ax. It has a clear view of the sky as if it needs one, the power button is easy to reach, I can see the status lights reflected in the glass (not obtrusive) and it's not a problem to hook up the charge cable should the rare need occur. I carry the gps and charge cable with me in my briefcase and it's easy to get into either car, set it up and go in a minute or so. Sorry, no pics. If you're looking to mount the gps and hardwire it so it's on all the time, it depends on gps model. The i-blue would be ideal for this, but the BT-338/9 wouldn't as it's auto off feature turns off the unit after 10 min idle, requiring a power button press to re start.
