Stick with it, after a little while you start to almost see where a number will go without having to calculate it! After you have identified where the obvious "singles" are, start looking for "pairs" especially when they sit in a horizontal or vertical line within the same 9x9 grid - you might not know which ones which but if it has to be either x or y then you know that both x and y can't exist exlsewhere along that line. (I hope this makes sense)


According to MasterSoft Suddoko v1.12 I'm still a Novice, though I've completed 3 simple, 3 easy, 7 medium, 7 hard, 21 vhard and 3 master levels.... think there might be a bug in their level advancement!
