I had the PhD and also thought it was a tad bit on the thick side. I liked the way it felt otherwise and the pen and stylus were quite nice. Unfortunately, I lost that one and am currently looking for a new one. Thanks for the tips. I'm looking for a few as I type since I have a penchant for losing stuff.
