My x50v with WM5 only has about 25-26meg free immediately after a soft reset. That is with a few today screen apps running, clear type enabled and activesync turned off. Not very much when you consider the 64meg you start with.

Nevertheless, now that I have applied a couple of tweaks/hacks and patches discussed on these forums I have been very happy with WM5 and even with such a small amount of memory it is running pretty well for me. Of course - you can never have too much free memory!
