Hmmm.. simple you say.. well you have it already
I've never understood why somebody would need encryted stuff on their PPC's anyways.. Do you have government (cia, fbi, etc.. ) information on this ppc.. do you have account numbers and stuff..
Click Start>Settings>(Personal Tab) Password>Click the checkmark. (Prompt if device unused for...)>Password Type (Strong Alphanumeric)> Input your pass and hit ok..
You now have $$$FREE$$$ Security feature that is already built into your OS.. When you turn the device off your whole entire PPC will be encryted.. and when you turn it back on your ppc will ask your password (while all files are still encrypted)
and then you will enter that password and magically all of those passwords will be decrypted..
Ta Dah!!!!
peace outside..
Mannequin
ps. when you use activesync with this new password encryption it will ask for your password on sync.. Nobody will be able to access your ppc without your password.. Don't save that information to any removable media like Secure Digital or Compact Flash Cards..
ps. ps.. If somebody were to steal your PPC with this encryption activated you would never be able to access the information on it without the password.. HARD RESET.. ALL GONE
