X51V, Activesync 4.0, Mobile Favorites

I know, there's several other threads addressing the issue , but no solution so far.My ONLY complaint about my new X51V is the fact that mobile favorites simply will not sync with the device. I was hoping to use this until Avantgo released a version that would work with 5.0. But no luck. The links transfer but not the content. Anyone with a X51 found a solution ????

Drives me crazy not to have a feature work. I tried a hard reset on the X51V, removing Activesync 4.0 . reinstalling AS 4.0 , setting up a new partnership and STILL mobile favorites will not sync. Question, has ANYONE with a X51V managed to get mobile favorites to sync ?????????

I know exactly what you are going through :rolling:

I got my x51 last night and run into the same problem. I had to delete the partnership, reinstall AS4 about three times. Havent done anything different each time when I reinstalled it and magicially it worked out after some time. So, I guess just try to reinstall it again (shutdown your PC after the removal of AS 4) and try it again.

Now, I am in work and I am running into the same problem and some reinstallations did it finally.

I hope it will work out!

I am having the same problem. I found on a Microsoft site that the inability to sync offline favorites is an "improvement" to ActiveSync 4.

Well, I am using Active Sync 3.7, and I can't get favorites to sync. I have tried every check box I can find, and I can't get it to work. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

any solution yet?

I have the same problem with the X51v.
I can't believe that such an essential feature is not implemented.
As a workaround it might be possible to sync the html files stored on your PC - but I haven't tried that yet
