X50V cradle Broken!?

I noticed my x50v wasn't charging, and I checked to see if everything was plugged in. It started charging for a few seconds, then it blinked off. So I took it out and looked at the connector, and it had clasped. Is this a common problem? I am carefull with my axim, and there really is no reason for the cradle to break. I have been on hold with Dell for the last 15 mins, and I will tell you how it goes. I hope I don't get some moron, that thinks that me not having A05 installed is the problem.

Well, they are sending me a new one, and they said for me to toss the broken one, which also means to attempt to fix it. They said it was cheaper for me to toss it then for me to send it back.

I also asked about when WM5 was being sent out, and the dude said that will be 2 weeks into November.

I love it when I can explain my problem in 15 seconds and support will send me a replacement for free. It just doesn't get much better. I just like Dell so much more. :approve:

Mine just went tits up with similar symptoms. :realmad: Unfortunatley, mine's not under warrenty, so I just ordered a mobile sync/power cable off of e-bay for 3 bucks. While I'm waiting (oh so patiently) for that to arrive, I'm using the cradle to charge the battery in the extra battery slot, and hotsyncing over wifi.
