Dell X50-ActiveSync 4.0 Problem The server is busy. Support Code: 85010017
I only can get 4.0 to correctly Sync if I delete the Mobile Device and start again. If not, I recieve the error: The server is busy. Support Code: 85010017
I have tried the trouble shooting techniques on the MSFT website to no avail. Disappointing to say the least. Naturally, this is compounded by a very sluggish PDA. Sadly, I had to pay for this fiasco.

In another thread it was suggested that you:
On your computer go to Start, Run and type in "regedit" and search for activesync. Delete anything with references to it. -Restart Computer. -Install Activesync. Restart. -Do a soft reset on your device and put it in the cradle. I had to reinstall ActiveSync this morning & I used activesync 3.8. Worked like a charm!

Sorry, I just learned that 3.8 does not work with WM5.
The only fix that I know of right now is clearing everything, with references to activesync, out of your registry. Then reboot & reinstall 4.0
