3.8 won't work with wm5. you have to get 4.x working to roll back as far as i know.

Sadly, that makes sense. How then do I connect without the blue screen of death?

Addendumb - I installed antisync on my brand new Dell 9300 laptop and was similarly rejected with the same BSOD. I wonder if Dell tries out their stuff on their own equipment

do not use a port replicater or a docking station

Connect the axim directly to the port on the laptop

If your using a cradel try using a SYNC-cable

Install service pack-2(FREE)

DELETE THIS FOLDER-C:\Program Files\Microsoft ActiveSync

TRY AN ANOTHER AXIM

REINSTALL OS

Learn to wipe out the registry to roll back
Continue praying
Install as 3.8
Pray real hard
Have it fail
Curse very hard
Clean registry once again

Reinstall 3.8
Pray

go to bed
