WM5 and AS4.0 Rollback Procedure

Has anyone successfully rolled WM5 and AS4.0 back to WM2003 and AS3.8? What is the correct order of deinstall for these products. I have reched the limit of my patience to make this upgrade work and I don't want to gove up the WiFi sync capability. I have an Axim X50v. Thanks.

You need to roll-back WM5 first because it will not work with AS3.8 or AS3.7. Then you can uninstall AS4.0 and reinstall an earlier version of ActiveSync.

Rant----Spent over an hour in an I/M session with Charlie Dell trying to get my x50v to sync with AS4.0 on a Win 2000Pro system. He got frustrated when he couldn't help and a mysterious connection problem occurred....I got the boot from Chuck! What a waste of time. Spending tomorrow rolling back...I hope it works......
