Roll back to 3.8 won't recognize

Hello,

I rolled back to WM03SE and AS 3.8 and now AS recognizes the handheld as "Guest" when I put it in the cradle. There are no partnerships setup and I can do anything at this point. Any help?

I've got exactly the same problem from uninstalling 4.0 back to 3.8 (due to the fact that WiFi is not supported). I had the rapi.dll restored to the old one for 3.8, so it actually starts syncing, but nothing more than a guest is possible...:(

It worked! YESSSSSS! I'm back to good old 2003se and Active Sync 3.71
