Anyone shed any light on why I get duplicate PIM data when connecting to Active Sync on occasions?

It's incredibly infuriating, especially when I have over 500 contacts.

As far as I am aware the "Device Name" has not changed between synchronisations.

Are there are good utilities to "clean up" the PIM and remove duplicates. I'm using the freeware version of "Easy2Sync" on the PC and then Sync the results with the PDA, but it doesn't find all the duplicates (for some odd reason).

I've used the "Outlook Duplicates Remover" with good success. It's not exactly free - it's licensed under prayerware, "Free to use if you will pray for the Parish of the Holy Spirit, Southsea"
