SYNCing movie files

Hey all..Im currently watching Batman Begins on my Axim and everything is great, Except for the fact that it took me like 5hrs to transfer the file from my laptop to the Axim, using active sync...??

Is there a better way...I keep seeing posts of people using card readers but does the card reader actually speed up the process of transferring files?? Or does it soley depend on the write speed of the sd or cf being used??..Please help!!

with a card reader the 5hrs it took to transfer your movie will only take 10-20 minutes depending on your card speed and card reader type

Download this free program called PocketDivXEncoder_v0.3.50, then before sending the movie to the axim, you can drastically reduce the file size and speed the transfer speeds. It takes me about a minute to transfer a complete movie.

Card reader is the solution

Having a card reader you'll experience a great difference...

I use a card reader to transfer films from my PC to a SD Card, once I've converted the .avi file with Pocket Divx Encoder, and the transfer process takes only about 3 to 5 minutes. I reckon that time comparing with your five hours is a hugue advance...

Moreover, take into account that card readers are really affordable...

Hummmm... Via Axim 5 hours OR via card reader 3 minutes. Not to hard of a choice. Most card readers are under $20 too. Good Luck~
