Weird, I installed it last week because 4.0 wouldn't work for me. I'm using 4.1 for over a week now.

They say this version is for WM-5. For Wm 2003 or earlier continue using AS 3.8.

There is a certain time and place for spontaneity.

There have been people passing around what they called a leaked copy for about a month or so now.

 

Leak copy is not legit, file size is 5 megs, while this one is 7 megs.

Microsoft version is more improvement and verified. Worth download!

Ecks, I couldn't agree more! Being an early adopter for an MS product is like being the FOOD TASTER for a despised monarch.

My WM05 disk is still in its wrapper, probably for at least a month or two more.

That just means the leaked copy is older, which you could have guessed by the fact it has been out for over a month and the official release came out today.

 

Still no worky for me...

I think it's more of a computer thingy though. I have it working at home (4.0), but somehow for the life of me, I can't get it to recognized my office computer (even with the 4.1)...

Have ActiveSync 4.1 installed and completed my first sync with the X51V. This revision does not fix the issues with a firewall. I had to shut off my ZoneAlarm firewall before ActiveSync would complete its connection.

 

That happens probably because you need to let Activesync.exe to act as a server in ZoneAlarm.

Seems to work for me.
I would say that it's your firewall settings, not the active synch.

No thats not it I gave AcriveSync.exe permission to act as a server and access to the internet. I am useing the free ZoneAlarm applicion, perhaps there is a difference from the professional one.
