Activesync creating duplicate calendar entries
This is driving me nuts...
X51V, acting horribly since I got it about a month ago. I put everything on an SD card, did a full backup to the SD card, and did a hard reset. Restored the backup and I notice that everthing is back but the calendar and task entries. So I sync with my computer, and now I have two entries for every meeting. I downloaded a trial version of a 'duplicate checker', but that didn't work. It said it couldnt' find any duplicates, even though I was looking right at them. I went in and manually deleted the duplicate tasks (there were only 10), sync'd again, and the duplicates reappeared. So obviously I'm not goign to do the same with the calendar (over 150 entries). What to do?

The same thing happened to me after I reloaded WM5 for the second time. When first sync'ing, it asked whether or not I wanted to "combine" data from the AXIM and Outlook, or to have Outlook replace data on my AXIM. I think I said "combine" and that caused the problem. However, I have many repeating occurrence items (birthdays, anniversaries, etc.) and it seemed to only create duplicate calendar entries for the current year.
Unfortunately, I had everyhting in my contact list duplicated also. I too could not eliminate the Outlook duplicates and so they just kept getting carried over to the AXIM. Finally after manually deleting the duplicates from Outlook, resetting the profile, and then NOT choosing "combine" everything seems to be working OK.

Mine did the same thing. After exhausting hours of trying to figure it out, found out that email calendar had a different setting for daylight savings time than did my axim. Hope this helps.
