they are not syncing to my desktop. They only sync when I have everything in Main Memory but I dont want to waste that precious space. How do I get notes from BIS onto my desktop outlook?

I've heard good things about PhatNotes. I've never tried it myself, so I don't know if can do what you're asking.

PhatNotes will sync to desk top Outlook and Outlook folders. This is nice. PhatPad which is more like notes will also sync to desktop but not to Outlook. You can use MobSync for this.
