Question applications starting automatically at synchronization

I recently had an error message, telling me that a certain application, which is set up to start itself automatically every time synchronization occurs, could not be started.
Then it asks me:
"Do you want this program to be removed from the list of automatically started applications ?"

So there is a list of a crapload of applications that try to start themselves - does anyone know where that list is at and how to get to it so we can exercise a little more control ?

Normally you will find a link to these apps in Windows/StartUp (similar to regular Windows). Cleaning up apps in this folder that don't need to start is a good way to pep up your pda. It is also a good way to break something if you remove a link you need, so search for your entries before removing.

I create a second directory called StartUpRemoved and move the links in case I mess it up.

Are you talking about the windows/startup on the Axim ?
I think the origin of that list of applications is on the host computer rather than on the Axim, right ?
