After spending (too) many hours searching all over the web and much time in these forums, I still can't seem to solve my problem.

Briefly - I can't seem to sync any tasks or calendar items to my x51 if they have data in the notes field (or details field, depending on your preference of term).

Setup:
X51, upgraded to latest firmware - A04
Activesync latest version 4.1 (also tried 4.0).
I have tried soft resets and hard resets.
The switcher bar was not running.
It is a brand new device, no extra applications are on it.

I have an old Axim X5 and it syncs just fine with both an old version of Activesync (3.7, 3.8) and the new one (4.1).

I have tried deleting and re-creating numerous partnerships.

I have tried the detect and repair function in Outlook - I can't reinstall Outlook, it's my work computer that I am syncing to.

I can create a new task (or appointment) on the Axim, it then syncs to the desktop, but if I edit the notes, they aren't re-transferred to the axim. If I create a new task or appointment on the desktop with just a title, it transfers fine. If I add even one character (not a picture, or handwriting) to the desktop task, it won't sync.

I have seen at least one other person with this problem (on this forum, too), but I haven't seen any responses/solutions.

Any assistance is Greatly appreciated.
