I have a very annoying problem since I installed ActiveSync 4.0, that came with my Axim x51v. Wenever I connect the usb cable (cradle), the 'Windows Mobile Device' network connection comes up, which is ok. However, the moment ActiveSync 'sees' this connection, and gives the 'green' icon, my internet connection (WLAN) is disconnected. It seems to as if there is a conflict between both network adapters. The following attempts to solve this problem didn't work :

- Disabling the firewall (still disabled, as I use WPA),
- Removing all bindings with the QoS network service, and uninstalling that service (see Microsoft's troubleshooting guide),
- Moving the WLAN to another subnet,
- Upgrading to ActiveSync 4.1 (version currently installed).

I always connect the usb cradle directly to the pc.

Anybody familiar with this problem?

Same here, and we develop wireless networks, so it's not like I can do without it. For now I uninstalled ActiveSync.
