I have just purchased an X51v (WM5) and I cannot get it to sync with my home computer (XP pro SP2) or my work computer (2000). Both PCs run as4.1 and my ipaq 2210 with WM2003 syncs effortlessley with both. I have not loaded anything yet onto my x51v, so shouldn't activesync just find the dell (both have different ppc names) as another partnership? I have tried 2 different usb leads, both into the same port on both PCs as well as trying a different usb port on both. I don't fancy phoning Dell support for half a day. Why would as4.1 work with the ipaq but not the dell? Should the x51v have activesync showing as active on it's screen like the 2210 does when it is connected? Does anyone have a solution please.
