On connect, half of messenging client pops up..

Basically, as soon as I dock my axim, it looks like this:

..The bottom bar doesn't respond other then opening the sub-menus, and the only way to close is it to tap it then hit the X button.. which is annoying on EVERY sync.

This problem went away in the more recent betas. Try upgrading WA2 to 2.4.1.16.

Hm, I noticed that I started getting it again after upgrading to 2.4.1.16, so I tried upgrading to 2.4.1.17, and I still have this problem every time it syncs.
