Can I use ActiveSync to backup two different PDAs?

My wife has an X51v (Windows Mobile 5.0) and I have an X50v (Windows Mobile 2003). Can we both use ActiveSync on the same desktop to backup our PDAs without it (ActiveSync) getting confused? I haven't dared try it yet for fear of mixing up the data on our two different PDAs. Has anyone reading this done it successfully? Thanks in advance!

In order to use the X51v, you need AS4.x and this version does not have a backup feature. That means once you do the upgrade so your wife can connect her PPC to the PC, neither of you will be able to backup through ActiveSync.

Ikehiker,
Thanks for your reply. Not sure I understand though. I only use ActiveSync to back up PPC data. If AS4.x doesn't have a backup feature, what use is it?
