Have just upgraded to WM5 and ActiveSync 4.1. All went well and the two devices connect, but then up pops a window saying "retrieving settings" and it continues not allowing me to do anything, and without syncing. I have re-installed Activesync, deleted partnerships and still the same....Any ideas??

Solved it...after much searching, simply turned off Sygate firewall, low and behold it connected and then turned back on the firewall. (Had previously followed microsoft's advice about firewalls etc...http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobi...c/default.mspx with no joy!)

I got the same problem. I did try with that guide from microsoft, it got connected but it still can not sync. I had to turn of the Sygate to make it sync.
Do you have any idea to make it sync without turning off Sygate ?
