email downloads to my dell x51v via activesync flawlessly. when I reply to an email in pocket outlook - it sits in the outbox as it should and when it syncs, the outbox is emptied. but the email doesnt get sent - just dissapears as far as I can see - not in sent items or visible in outlook on the desk top! outbox is not an option to sync under email settings - any ideas?

Check the outbox of Outlook? As syncing sends the email to Outlook where it sits until you instruct Outlook to send/receive.
Try geting the settings to your email account and setting the account directly in your PPC rather than syncing you can use the interent passthrough function to skip Outlook completely.
