I just "upgraded" to 4.x as instructed when I upgraded my X50v to WM5 (yeah, I know, a lot of folks not happy with it, we'll see) but to stick with the topic of this thread:

Using 4.x is there any way to select syncing of only certain Contact categories? What about NOT syncing all future appointments? How about only Active tasks? I know that you can "filter" the view so you only see certain contacts or tasks, but a) it's not a sticky setting for contacts (you have to set it each and every time you open Contacts). b) I've got close to a 700 contacts on my desktop! And I don't know how many tasks. That's a crazy stupid waste of space on a PPC.

If I can't have these settings back with 4.x will WM5 work with 3.8? I'm tempted to go back to 3.8 anyhow so I can WiFi sync anyhow.

Anyone know if there is anything GOOD in 4.x that would make me want to keep it? I haven't seen anything yet.
