Active sync and Contacts In Outlook

I have Active Sync 4.1, Outlook 2003 but my .pst file is a personal folders file. When I make a change on Contacts , it is not reflected in the Axim. By trial and error, I determined that if I overwrote the MS standard outlook.pst file (in local settings) with my personal folders file, Active Sync picked up the changes. This works but it's a pain in the neck. How can I tell Active Sync to use the Contacts in my personal .pst file?

Thanks,
Bob

Can’t

However you could have your desktop outlook use your personal folder file as default!

If I get this right your personal contact in Outlook do not sync to your PPC. My personal contact sync all the time however the business contact never do as it is by design. If you open ActiveSync while the PPC is in the cradle, go to Options, Make sure that Contacts is checked and that you are synchronising with the PC not the Server. If you want contact to sync you will have to move then to your personal contact.

Here is another thread that looks to have the answers you need.
