I recently reinstalled everything on my pc. The .pst folder was backed up and reinstalled. After everything was reloaded on the pc I synchronixed my axim and ended up with duplicate contacts.

I figured no prob, I cleaned them up on my pc so there was only a single contact for everyone. Next I deleted all of the contacts on the axim. I put the axim in its cradle expecting it to copy the cleaned up contacts from the pc. My jaw dropped as I saw all of my contacts disappear off the pc....it copied the empty folder and overwrote all the contacts with nothing.

Is there any way to undo any of this? I could import my backed up .pst again but have some new contact information I would like to recover.

If they're not in Outlooks Deleted items folder, restore from backup pst. Before syncing, set ActiveSync option so that Outlook overwrites Axim

My dad did this just the other day. They were sitting in the Deletes Items folder, just as wooch says. (You beat my wooch! ;-) )

Thanks guys I imported my backup files into outlook and also retrieved some of the deleted ones from the deleted items folder. Then when I synced up they all went to the axim...whew!
