Fix for Active sync hang on Smart phone
Sprint Samsung Smart phone Mobil 6 Activesync USB hang. After bashing my head against a brick wall for a while I found the problem (my System at least) in the settings->connections->USB to PC Uncheck the "advanced network functionality" box. That stopped the endless spinning.

PS I am sorry for Bumping this but it came up in a Google with the same problems
