Are you talking about on your device or on your PC? You can't uninstall it on your device because it's built into the ROM, but you can do a hard reset (with no restore) to get your device back to a fresh factory state (i.e., all data removed, etc.). To uninstall ActiveSync from your PC, go into Add/Remove Programs in your Control panel.

assuming you mean on your pc, goto start> control panel> add or remove programs. never delete it by deleting files/folders. What problems are you having that you need to remove it?

The simplest way to fix it on your PDA would be to do a hard reset without a restore from a backup. You will have to reinstall your programs, but your device will be the way it was when you first got it. Also, remember to sync before you hard reset to save your data (e.g., calendar, contacts, etc.).

Your contacts and notes are stored by default in internal memory. If you sync before you hard reset, you should be able to resync back to your device afterwards. Anything that is in your storage cards will not be affected by a hard reset.
