Hi,

I notice that when installing some software the "install program into the default installation folder" was greyed out.
I have read that active sync should ask whether I want to install into the default directory, at that point I could select my choice.

Being a complete novice and only installed one program, active sync did not give me the option to change location.

Is there a bug with my version of active sync - Version 4.0.0 (Build 4343) or are there Installations that will not allow the default location to be changed.

The installation was an exe on my PC with the Axim x51v docked in the USB Cradle.
