Syncing task with 2 pcs problem
I'm using the X51v with Outlook 2002 (as supplied by Dell) on my home PC, and syncing (via cradle) works fine. I mark tasks completed at home, and when I sync the X51v at work with Outlook 2003 via Bluetooth, all appointments etc are synced but tasks remain as "not started", even when marked as completed on the X51v. As the overdue tasks on the work PC annoy me, I mark them completed manually. Then, when I bring the X51v home and sync, the previously completed tasks are marked "not started" again.
Is it the different versions of Outlook, or different Activesyncs (4 at home, 4.1 at work), or is there something else I'm overlooking? Does this ring a bell with someone?

I've got a similar setup: Outlook 2002 at home using the cradle and Outlook 2003 at work using bluetooth and am not experiencing this problem, though I am using WM2003. I'm also using Activesync 3.8.
Are you able to disable and renable tasks sync to try and reset the settings? Did it ever work?

It has never worked properly although I've only been trying for a few weeks :-) Close observation this week revealed that the problem seems to affect only *recurrent* tasks, with tasks resetting to the starting date after the actual occurrence has been marked completed.
