My what a popular topic this is already
Here's my A/S problem - any thoughts are appreciated:
About a month ago, my Axim X30L stopped syncing with A/S (3.8, I beleive). I figured I'd upgrade to A/S 4.1, but to no avail.
When I go to Device/Hardware manager, and look down at the USB stuff, the Windows CE Devices node keeps disappearing and reappearing off of the hardware list, every few seconds. If I have the properties for the device open (when it's appeared) it will cycle from "This device is working properly" to "This device is not connected"...
(Didn't notice at first because my WinXP User account has no sounds set, but when logged in to Admin, I hear the bee-boop of the device disconnecting and reconnecting ).
Needless to say A/S says the device is not connected and won't sync. I've tried about everything, soft reset, uninstall reinstall A/S, check cables, check ports, etc... etc...
I went through the motions will Dell Chat last night for about an hour. No firm resolution except they are sending a new sync cable.
Anyone else experience this or have a resolution?
