I am truly curious to see just how many of you guys out their have constant problems, some problems, or few/no problems with Activesync. This will be intersting to look at after everyone has voted.

I am studying MS VB05 right now, so if you can give me any tips or need some help on something I would be glad to help(or try).

Ok, I voted that I have no problems with it, but like a lot of people it occasionally can give me fits. 95% of the time I get away with a good sync. Of course I'm never going to be an activesync fanboy, but it's all we've got for the time being.

Also voted - Really wanted a 'Much more [x10] trouble than it's worth' option though. Too buggy, and way too many conflicts/constraints with other MS programs that have to be weeded out/worked around. I've had too many AS backups go bad in the past to trust it as my primary source, and if I could install or tweak entirely without it, I don't know if I'd ever use it.
I can get it to sync, but I find that the program often crashes on me during the sync these days... and I don't know why, when it worked the first time I managed to get it installed.

Interested to see the poll results.
backups are no longer an AS option. see, they fixed that problem for you! Works 99.9% of the time for me and usually a soft reset will fix that other .1%. it is getting better, albeit slowly, but it is improving in its stability. now if they would just put wifi sync back in....
like most M$ ware, every new version promises more stability than the previous version but delivers less. I had 3.8 as stable as Activesync gets, then I had to screw it up by "upgrading" to 4.1 . Now, after hours spent futzing with AS, Outllook and combing the many activesync troubleshooter pages, it seems stable again. That's after reconfiguring my firewall that was never a problem before and unchecking the Outlook plugin's that were never a problem before. :rolling:
