New user...Axim x51v/activesync 4.1: I'm trying to synch with my exchange server at work. I got the exchange server address and domain name from my IT team, but I'm gettting a message to the effect that the server address isn't detected....then it asks me to retry or continue.

Any idea why the server address isn't recognized?

My IT team won't help....they only support IPAQ or Blackberry... ugh!

How are you entering the server address? If by name, then try entering it as an IP address. Also, can you give the specific errors you get when trying to connect?

I was making this much harder than necessary. I found out I don't need to synch directly with the server... I just synch with Outlook on the PC....

I'm having what I think is a similar issue.

I am trying to set up my new x50v and cannot get it to connect w/ my computer wirelessly. It syncs w/ the dock and recognizes/works with my work's wifi but will not go though.

Additionally; I cannot get it to sync anything other than my tasks. (no e-mail or calendar)

Any suggestions?
