I cannot synch my x51v with my work computer. It works fine at the house. I have seen a lot of discussion here about firewalls interfering with activesynch but I cannot seem to find one in use on my work network. On the other hand, the work network uses a Symantec corporate antivirus software that may be the problem. Can antivirus software cause a synch problem and if so, does anyone have a solution?

Do you sync your PDA through a USB hub or through a direct USB connection?

The whole 'sync with server' vs. 'synch with PC' concept was very confusing to me. Once I realized that I didn't need to connect to my work server, but rather sync just like I do at home, I had no problem.

Not sure if this is your issue...but once I used the USB connection to my PC and synched like at home, I was set.
