Using a Dell Axim X51 with Windows Mobile 5.0 and PC w/MS Windows 2000 with all current patches installed. When logged in as local administrator the PC connects to the Axim, but when logged in as a domain user ActiveSync stays in a "connecting" status. I have added the domain user to the administrator group to no avail. :exc:


Thanks for any assistance you can offer.

Do you have any firewall software installed on your PC? Sometimes it can interfere.

If you have firewall software (symantec/mcafee/etc), and also the Windows Firewall (SP2) can be configured to block AS 4.1 - I know it is in our corporate environment.

I am having the same problem, also on WinBlows 2000. It worked great the first time now nothing. And there is no firewall issue unless the hardware firewalls could be responsible. Anyone got any other suggestions.
