Question ActiveSync/Data Restore

My battery died and a hard reset resulted. I synced up my X50v as a guest partnership so I could restore a backup file I had saved. But now Activesync only sees my X50v as a "Guest" and won't let it sync with my computer. How can I get it to sync again?

Once you restore the backup file, you should be able to establish a new partnership.
The process should be something like this:
Restore backup
Remove Axim from cradle
Soft reset
Place Axim in cradle
Activesync will load and prompt you to set up a new partnership
You'll probably have to come up with a new name.

ONce you have restored it and done a soft reset it should recognize the old user name on its own. If you are trying to use wifi sync, you will have to sync one time first with the cradle to get it working. If that doesn't work, with the pda off of the cradle, go into the AS on the desktop and delete the username that you want to use again and then put the pda on the cradle and it should recognize it and let you set up the partnership.
