ActiveSync Why has it taken so long for this category?

AS 4.1 - Constant Connecting
I reinstall active sync, connect my device - things are okay for a few syncs. A few days later I try and connect and it just stays on "connecting."

Whats up? Any suggestions. Why can't it just connect when I put it in/have it on instead of after 2 or 3 syncs it stops working.
