Ctrl log keeps growing

Has anyone noticed?..
The activesync folder ctrl log (WM5) just keeps building up and must be cleaned out often. I've turned off logging in activesync.... but doesn't seem to have any effect. Anyone found a cure??

Just delete it. Its only a text file. It is useful for troubleshooting when there is a problem. I believe it sync every 10 minutes.

You CANNOT turn off logging in ActiveSync.

I wonder how large that file would get over time, I just happened to notice it and have been deleting it. There is a setting in active sync for logging, but apparently its not the ctrl log.... I remember 2 of the settings... off and verbose. I set it to off and expected it to be this file. Do you know what log file refers to in active sync?
