ActiveSync "connecting" for hours
I am pretty new to all this technology stuff. I got a Dell Axim x51 416 (low end) ppc for x-mas and after downloading the ActiveSync, everything was working perfectly. Now when I sync it to my Dell Inspiron notebook is just says "connecting" forever and never syncs. I did just add antivirus protection but even with disabling it, it still won't work. I'm at my wits end. My life is in this thing and I am fearful of losing my information. Please help!!!

Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and he'll be gone all day. Traffic lights that are set for 35 are also set for 70 |

Yes, I have disabled it all and still no luck with it working. My Axim is bluetooth enabled. Would you recommend getting bluetooth for my laptop so that I can sync that way and ditch the usb cable? If so, how and what do I need to my laptop to make it bluetooth enabled and ready to sync? Thanks!
