Need a FULL sync from two computers with 1 pda

Help me sync my PDA. I need my Axim v5.0 to full sync on two computers.
QuickQuote

Ok.. so im trying to sync a dell axim with two computers. The computers are on different networks (home, work)

All I really want to do is sync the axim at work in the morning, (in one office)grab email, calendar and get to work, and sync it before i leave work (in another office)email, calendar etc

The issue with axim's is that if you want to synch the shit on two+ computers, your stuck using a main and a guest partnership, guest partnership can not sync email which is not acceptable, id rather go out and buy a dif brand before not syncing email

My emails run through exchange

Anyone out there help?

This isn't anything to do with Dell or Axims. It is Microsoft ActiveSync.
All PPCs should use ActiveSync the same.
I don't think this part has changed between AS 3.8 and 4.1, but which model do you actually have? Do you mean the X51 when you say Axim v5.0?
If so, then you should be using AS 4.X.
I am using ActiveSync 4.1 (with my X51v).

If you use Exchange for your e-mail, set up the e-mail as Exchange and it should be fine to get from either computer.
Then you would synce other items directly with the computer (or also with Exchange). You can sync with two computers, you just can't sync a specific item with a computer and an Exchange at the same time.
I have my e-mail set up through an Exchange and the Contacts, Appointments, Tasks, and files all sync with two computers (home and office).

You can't sync as a Guest, you can only copy files and (un)install programs. So make sure you have a partnership set up on both computers.

The issue at hand here could be one of security.

I have my Axim set up to sync w/ an exchange server, which I can do fine from work because I am on their network and I'm allowed access to the server.

However, I cannot do it from home without jumping through several layers of security hoops.

Castiron, you might want to check with your IT department to figure out what needs to happen on your home computer to have an active connection to your exchange server. If there is a Walk-Through for setting up Outlook on your Home PC, that would be sufficient.

The problem might be that we are not on exchange 2003 but an earlier version, so I cant use exchange to sync it. How do you set it up for 2 computers, to sync both for email etc? Explain it to me step by step because im a noob

The axim is v5.0 and activesync version is 4.1, I am on windows XP to.
