I just got my Dell Axim a few days ago and it is amazing. However, I'm having a problem installing the ActiveSync software on my desktop. I tried installing it on my laptop and it worked fine, but I need it on the desktop. The install seems to go all the way through and when it gets to the end of writing the system registry values a message comes up saying:

"Error. Could not write value CLSID to key
\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet
Explorer\Estensions\{2EAF5BB1-070F-``D3-9307-00C
04FAE2D4F}. Verify that you have sufficient access
to that key, or contact your support personnel."



I'm running Windows XP on a Dell XPS desktop. I was about to call dell but before I sit on the phone for hours with them I figured I'd see if anyone here can help. Any info you can give is much appreciated. Thank You.

Nevermind, I was able to fix the problem by turning off Zone Alarm and NAV. :)
