Can't sync

I have Axim X51, it had all type of problems taht were resolved with the a hack that I read in this web page. It was working fine until today. last night I made my last sync. Today it's imposible to sync, active sync opens and I can explore the mobile from the laptop but it doesn't sync. I have active sync 4.1, axim x51 rom 05 and wm5 the lap is vaio vgn-a270 with xp home. It worked all correctly for about a week. I haven't made changes in the software that works with the PDA. When I see the activesync in file the sync is now grey and the same for the mobile device, but the device can be opened from the explore. Can some help me fix the problem.

I have found that when that happens, restarting the computer seems to do the trick.
Might also want to soft reset the PPC too, just in case.

Thanks I´ve done it ands it works restarting the computer. But I think it´s not the way to handle the problem.

I had to pull my battery to unlock my axim and haven't been able to get a sync since either at home or work. I get connection but no sync. I even uninstalled active sync at work, then reinstalled. No help. Something has gotten switched off on my Axim.

Any help?
