I have an X5 running Mobile 2003, Activesync 4.1, Outlook 2003 and connecting to a Windows 2003 Exchange Server. When I place my X5 in the USB cradle, everything syncs correctly. If a new e-mail arrives while it's in the cradle, the e-mail also appears on my X5. The problem is when I delete an e-mail on the desktop computer while the X5 is cradled. It goes away on my PC, but not on the X5. Likewise, if I delete an e-mail on the X5, it won't go away on the PC. To make everything correct, I have to force a resync by turning the X5 off and then on or I have to remove it from the cradle and put it back. When I do that everything syncs up. I don't have this problem with Tasks, Contacts, or appointments. With those a change on the PC or the X5 is immediately reflected on the other. Activesync is set for continuos sync. Is there a setting somewhere that handles e-mail deletions? When I leave my office, I really don't want to see all the messages I previously read and deleted.
