I started having major active sync issues. It would take a dump on itself everytime. After reinstalling it and nuking the Axim a few times I discovered that Tonayo Weather To Go was to blame. I uninstalled it and all is fine.

I hope this helps some one.

Incidentally, My Axim worked like a charm on my Windows x64 pc. I am now using my laptop which runs regular XP, and I am getting a few bugs. I know some will say there is no connection between the two, but I think there is. Anyways, happy PDA'ing.

Ever try PocketWeather [sbsh.net]. I've used it for a year without trouble.

It seems Like I'm the next victim - it seems like a nice program - now I can't get the activesync to show up - what did you do to finally make it work - I have uninstalled activeync - reinstalled it about a dozen times (3.8) still no go - what is going on.

Just got e-mail from the Tonaya folks

Hello,

Please check if your Pocket PC registry
"HKLM\Windows CE Services\Synchronization\objects\WTGSync"
still exists. If it does, please delete it (this registry should be empty).
It could be this line will not let you sync successfully.

It worked like a charm - deleted this registry -
It appears this was a left over from a previous version -
and now everythings works great.

More than that Wheather to Go 4.0 works like a charm -
That is very nice customer service -
especially since this one is a freeware.

Thanks again - hope this will help others.

By the way - Used Total commander to delete the registry
