I can point you to the instructions (they are in the WiFi Guide linked from my signature)
but, the instructions will not help you. M$ removed wireless syncing from ActiveSync 4.0 and apparently have no plans to bring it back. Since WM5.0 requires AS 4.x, you have no alternative but to use it and thus no way of wirelessly syncing with your PPC.
I cannot understand the other problem you are having but check
Chris De Herrera's ActiveSync Troubleshooting Guide. It's the best resource for ActiveSync problems.

wireless activesync and cannot sync with contacts
Hello im a new x51 owner I was really upset when I 1st purchased the PDA because Its my 1st PDA and Im new to everything. Slowly but surely its stuff coming around. I can connect wireless via home network but I want to wireless activesync. Can anyone give me step by step instructions to wireless activesync. I have wma 5.0 and activesync 4.1. Also I can sync now and have it set up to manual sync but I cannot sync my contacts I have uninstalled.installed and reselected my contacts but it does not show up when active sync runs and I cannot select to sync via my pda please help. ps I have pocket money and can open it on my pda but not my pc is this normal?
