Mad cannot start communications with desktop computer

I'm getting the above error message when I try to sync wirelessly.

My x30 was syncing wirelessly before. I had the problem before I upgraded activesync. I installed activesync 4.0 then I tried a hard reset and reinstallation of activesync 3.8 too but my problem isn't fixed. Can someone help?

I have an x30 that previously synced with my dell laptop. I am able to access my home wireless network--I can get on the internet and read my email but I cannot sync wirelessly. I think I've tried about every solution out there but nothing works. Any suggestions?
