ActiveSynce +OdysseyClient

Axim X51V previously working with ActiveSyne fine. I launched Odyssey Client, now I cannot Sync my Axim. I get a error on the Axim that it is unable to contact the Server, Odyssey is disabled. Any suggestions for regaining ActiveSync Connectivity?

Thanks,
Hank

Before you go searching in the wrong places, I doubt that the Odyssey client is causing any problems. I use mine all the time. If you want to make sure it is out, just go into it, pick disable from the settings menu, click exit from the settings menu and soft reset. There is a new thread on troubleshooting AS as well as a bunch of threads detailing all the problems with wm5 and AS.

Thanks for poiting this out, Odyssey Client is disabled. I made the connection because I connected via ActiveSync, playing around and launched Odyssey Client, now it won't connect. The exact errors is: "Pocket PC Networking - Unable to obtain a server-assigned ip adress. Try again later or enter an IP Address in Network Settings." I thought I'd modified a setting somewhere that is preventing A cradle connective ActiveSync session.

When you have your axim cradled, go into your network settings on the pc and make sure that tcp/ip is configured for the axim "network card". I've also found out that if the axim is turned on before putting it in the cradle or cable I get a more reliable connection. AS with WM5 is just a pain in the a**! Also are you using AS 4.1?

Found the solution here...

seems the Remote N-DIS Host was the culprit. I must have activated it when i launched Odyssey client. I hope this helps to redirect someone else, and thak you for the responses.
